Support
CragMate is made by one climber - and the same climber answers the email. Write tohello@cragmate.com and you'll usually hear back within two or three working days.
Reporting a bug
The more you can tell me, the faster it gets fixed. Worth including:
- Your iPhone model - and your Apple Watch model, if the watch was involved.
- Your iOS and watchOS version (Settings → General → About).
- Your CragMate version - it's at the bottom of the app's Settings screen, in the form
1.0 (42). - What you were doing right before it went wrong, and what you expected instead.
- A screenshot, if it's something you can see.
It might already be answered
The FAQ on the home page covers what comes up most: working offline at remote crags, grade scales, imports and exports, and Android.
If you installed CragMate through TestFlight
Use TestFlight's own feedback rather than email where you can - take a screenshot inside CragMate, tap the preview, then Share → Share Beta Feedback. Or open the TestFlight app and tap Send Beta Feedback. Either route attaches your app version and build, your device model, and your iOS version automatically, so all you have to write is what went wrong.
There's no account to recover
CragMate has no sign-up and no password - there's no account to reset and nothing that can lock you out. Your sessions live on your device, and you can export or delete them yourself from the app whenever you want. If sessions seem to be missing, that's a sync or restore question rather than an account one, and it's worth an email.
Privacy and data requests
Privacy inquiries, data access requests, and erasure requests go toprivacy@cragmate.com - the address named in theprivacy policy. It reaches the same person.
